This is the foundational Music Together class, one that a child can attend from birth to age five through 12 song collections. Each of these collections contain original and traditional songs from around the world. This unique musical experience of languages, tonalties and rhythms, sets Music Together apart. The class follows the recommendations of child development researchers-grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones, older children learn by leading younger ones and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. The relaxed, no pressure environment lets all kids learn at their own pace. Each week, a trained Music Together teacher leads the class in singing, dancing and playing songs from our award winning music. The illustrated songbook and other print and online resources will help you continue the music-making fun at home and nurture your child's musical growth. No previous experience is necessary!

Music Together con Español is a bilingual English/Spanish family class for Spanish speakers looking for a more accessible way to experience Music Together, as well as for families who want some exposure to the Spanish language through music. For all families, it’s Music Together con un giro—with a twist!

“¡Cuénteme más!”—“Tell me more!”—you say, so here goes: all enrolled families receive a CD plus digital access to the semester’s songs recorded in a mixture of Spanish and English, as well as the English-language songbook and a booklet with the Spanish lyrics. You’ll hear some new voices on the recordings, too: adult singer Mary Ellen Assue and child singers Tony Jimenez and Emily Cano. Everyone will have a great time in this Music Together family class that’s accessible to todo el mundo—everyone—regardless of your level of Spanish-language proficiency.

Every child’s development benefits from early exposure to music and movement. Because the early months are so important, Music Together offers two options for babies. Babies not yet eight months on the first day of class may attend the special “Babies Class” offered as a one-semester introduction to Music Together (this class cannot be repeated.) The music activities and material are specially designed for parents who want to learn as much as possible about music development in babies. Meet other parents of newborns and learn some fascinating music activities you can recreate at home with your baby. Babies eight months and younger on the first day of class may also attend a Mixed Ages Class, whether registered on their own or attending with an older brother or sister.

Rhythm Kids^® follows through on the Music Together® vision to help children complete the pathway of early childhood music development from birth through age 8. In addition to the weekly Rhythm Kids^® class experience, children ages 4.5-8 and their grownups can enjoy drumming play and practice sessions at home with the help of online play-along videos featuring Rhythm Kids^® creator Tom Foote.
